Chemical Property: Special aroma. Soluble in ethanol, ether and acetone, slightly soluble in water, chloroform, carbon disulfide and petroleum ether. 

Usage: 

1. Strong inhibition of p-hydroxybenzoic acid esters of molds and yeasts, bacteria especially for lactic acid bacteria and gram negative bacteria effect is poor, but the antibacterial ability than sorbic acid and benzoic acid is strong, and the antibacterial effect is not affected by PH, in the range of PH4-8 effect is good. 

2.
